Iced coffee – CHEMEX

You need:

Chemex

Paper filters for Chemex

42g of coffee

300g of ice

300ml of water

First rinse the filter, then remove it and place 300g of ice in the Chemex coffeemaker. Replace the rinsed filter and pour the coffee into it. Pour a smaller quantity of water onto the coffee (around 30ml) at a temperature of 93–94°C, so that it is pre-heated (starts to bubble slightly), wait for 30 seconds and then progressively pour on the rest of the hot water in a circular movement, so that the coffee is extracted evenly. The hot coffee reaches the ice and it gradually melts, cooling the coffee. After completing extraction remove the filter and stir the contents of the coffeemaker. The iced coffee is ready!

 

Iced coffee - COFFEE DRIPPER

You need:

Coffee dripper

Paper filters for coffee dripper

Cup/pot

30g of coffee

200g of ice

250ml of water

First insert a paper filter into the dripper and rinse it with water. Place ice in the cup/pot and place the dripper and filter on the cup/pot. Tip in ground coffee and pour a smaller quantity of water onto it (around 30ml) at a temperature of 92–93°C, so that it is pre-heated (starts to bubble slightly), wait for 30 seconds and then progressively pour on the rest of the hot water. After the completion of extraction, remove the dripper and, in a circular motion, stir the contents of the cup/pot. The iced coffee is ready!
